help needed with iPhone Photos

Jun 26, 2010 12:10AM PDT

at some point after a synchronization with iTunes my iPhone started showing three similar photo albums when I open my Photos app.

I have "Camera Roll", "Photo Library" and another "My Photos".

There are a lot of duplicates among the three directories.

I would like to know:

- how to move all these photos onto my laptop and off my iPhone so I can sort and remove the dups

- then wipe clean the photos on my iPhone so that I have no photos on my iPhone and can start a fresh new camera roll at the next synchronization.

Can anyone point me to a decent step by step guide ?
