These cordless mics always have some base unit that collects all the mic inputs with controls for on/off (mute) and sometimes volume/gain. The output of that goes where you want.
Since this is custom you install it and then work out how to operate and if there's an issue you change setup, connections and sometimes the gear.
The biggest mistake is to try to make a system that does it all. For example if you need a video player I might not use the laptop. I might get some BluRay player to do that.
I am bit naïve in electronic word with very basic limited knowledge. I want to set up a audio and video system in small conference hall (24 people max). What I want is laptop presentation thru my projector (that's easy) plus speakers system with three cordless mics (one collar mic with two hand held mics (that's bit difficult part). What I have is laptop, projector connected with HDMI cord, also I have 5.1 Samsung normal home theatre with DVD player. Now if you pl help me that what are the addition things I need (Possibly with simplest electronic terminology words.) And how to connect them. Hope in this advance electronic forum its not stone age question. Pl help.
