Help needed to connect PC to 46" LCD (LT-46FN97)

I just bought JVC's 46" LCD TV, model # LT-46FN97
The manual says to set the resolution to 1024 x 768 and refresh rate to 60 Hz. I did this, and continued to hook up the PC to the TV's VGA input. However, all I get is the screen with squiggly lines. Any other ideas on what the problem could be?

What is the setting of your video card?

The refresh rate should be 60Hz also and the resolution should be approx. 1024x768. Give that a try and see how it goes.

Choosing the right input

I am just wondering... is there an option to change input/source or select a different input/source? You may be trying to view the wrong source...
