HELP NEEDED REGARDED UNLOCKED PHONES

I have a Verizon GS4 which obviously uses microsim. I recently bought an unlocked iPhone 5 which uses nanosim. What can I do to use these phones interchangeably? I desperately need to use both for business.

Since there are adapters for the nanosim to be used in the other form, why not use one of those adapters?

There are fine tutorials on that but why not get the smaller and then the adapter? It's rather well discussed which is why I'm keeping it short.
