Question

Help needed new build

Oct 15, 2014 12:00AM PDT

Hi there

1st I must tell you I'm danish so maybe there's some spelling errors.

My MB crashed so I'm going to build a new compuuter in a hurry it's bad beeing without one . My graphic card & powersupply ( a Thermaltake 750W ) I'm going to keep but have to get a motherboard - RAM - CPU & CPU cooler and fan.

I use my computer to surf - downloading - listen to music and writing letters, the games I play is boardgames and Hidden objects games.

MB:
I've been building computers around 20 years and been using mostly ASUS motherboards and have had no problem with any of them so ASUS motherboard
I would like to get again. I don't need a MB with too many features I don't need / use that would be a vaste of money, but one with a good reputation not known for problems

CPU:
I don't care if it's an Intel or AMD as long as it's good and stable.

CPU Cooler and Fan:
They got to be as silent as possible

RAM
I've used Corsair for years and wouldn't mind continue with it

My budget is about $ 500

I don't know if $ 500 seem too little to you but here in Denmark computer parts don't cost alot

Hope any of you can help me

Take Care Susanne

Look into MSI or Gigabyte for MB's. Personally I'd build something based on Intel as the processor, I-5 should be sufficient. Look at the Antec 900 tower (or similar) lots of cooling....easy access. Personally I've had some issues with Asus boards and my ONLY processor failure was AMD, never had an issue with Intel. Memory, your choice. Good luck!

For your needs

I doubt you need a video card.

So maybe......

Cpu
A10-7800

Ram
2x4GB@2133

Mobo
Fm2+ with the A78 chip set.
That's the middle of the pack mobo that does not have all the bells+whistles that gamer's and overclocker's love.

Do some research....check prices....see if it fits.
