Hi Marco,
you don't give a lot of information regarding your computer, other than the version of OS X you are using. Could you tell us what Mac you have?
I took a look at the SMC website and they do not mention Mac at all for this device. Their driver section does not have a Mac driver and page 4 of the manual states Windows OS's only.
Been to the networks pane, in System Preferences, with the device plugged in? It "may" recognize the device without drivers

hH,
as you will see soon, I'm a Mac novice.
I have a Mac OS 10.3 and I bought a USB wifi adapter of SMC.
The model is SMC EZ connect G.
This stick is supposed to be compatible with MAC OS and I wil trust the vendor
.
I plugged into the USB port the device and I inserted the driver CD.
I found a .bin file (under the driver folder) which is supposed to be the device driver.
When I click on it the system asks me to save it into a destination...
My question is: WHERE I'm I supposed to save it?
I tried to save it into the extension folder (where all other drivers seemed to be placed) but it didn't work.
Now, what should I exactly do to install my wifi network at home?
Thanks for any suggestion... I'm getting crazy with the mac... but I don't want to go back to windows... please help me.
Cheers,
Marco
