There never was such a manual.

Maybe we can tackle the problem next time but as you'll discover only HP has that locked away so if you don't pick up the phone and ask you may never get one.

HOWEVER, what good is this manual going to do us? Most of the time I hear this it's the dead computer issue. We swap in a new CPU or motherboard to fix it just like hundreds of other machines that we never needed the manual for.

Install the motherboard, replace the parts that can be replaced.

Any motherboard manual that is close is close enough for your average PC tech.

-> I know what I'm running into today are a new breed of owners and users. They are a demanding lot waiting and wanting documentation that never existed. They will not accept that close enough answers and documentation.

I wonder if this trend will continue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
