Help needed choosing a DAP

All help appreciated with this one. Here are my requirements:

I want a player with plenty of space, I have over 300 CDs and some old music that was downloaded 5+ years ago, mainly MP3 format and I would like to have a lot of it on my player, so that I have the choice. Don't want to spend a lot of time taking tracks off and putting new tracks on.

Would like to be able to use it while at the gym - can it handle a treadmill?

I want it to be able to pick an album and play it.

I have PC, so it must have a good interface system.

Would like something quite sturdy, not that break in a years time.

Price is important, but the other issues mentioned above are the driving issues for me.
