My computer says there is no "sound hardware" im running windows xp, i built this computer from a barebone kit online. I installed a regular AGP graphix card onto the motherboard in an additonal slot not the supported dual PCI Express slots. Everything is working fine besides the fact their is no audio what should i do?

If the motherboard doesn't have a sound card integrated into it, you'll need to install a PCI sound card. If it does have an integrated sound card, you need to install the drivers and connect the speakers.

By DEFAULT your SYSTEM Set-Up should Enable any Integrated Sound Card..Look for a CD of Updates for the Mobo..
But if you get no results System Set-up will list the Sound(audio)..ON/OFF<<--Click...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
