help! my programs auto close!

Hi all, ive been having a problem with all my games. This problem is that when im using the program after a random period of time it closes automatically and there isnt any error messages. Plz someone help me.

Did you check the Windows XP event log?

If this only happens with games (and not with browsing or mailing or word processing) the video card and video drivers are suspected. With heat and power supply issues a blue screen or shutdown or spontaneous reboot is more likely. There's no real indication of viruses, in my opinion.

Could be difficult to pinpoint.
