Help! My computer is acting strange!

Nov 10, 2011 12:07PM PST

There are tons and tons of problems with my laptop, it's almost 2 years old. It's an emachines if that helps. When I start up my computer lately there are very long repetitive beeping noises that last for about 5 to 10 mins. Then windows starts up and everything is absolutely slower than ever. I have more than half my disk space still free. I am pretty sure I don't have a virus since I have 2 official anti-virus programs and there were not any alerts. Anyway, it is so so so slow! When I open the task manager the CPU usage is only around or less 13% when it's this slow, and nothing wants to open on command. When I google something it take 30 mins for it to load, and I always have 5 bars internet access. Should I completely wipe my computer or is there another way that I can solve myself? (My warranty is up)
