Help! msn mail is stuck!

by lizziealso / November 19, 2007 11:15 PM PST

Hello, I have an e-mail problem and hope you can help. I have 2 computers, one a desktop (for home use) and a laptop (for work). I cannot access my mail (msn acc.) from my laptop. It just keeps endlessly sending, but i never receive my mail. (stuck on send). I can access and receive mail ( the same mail acc.) through my desk top. How do i stop my laptop from sending and get it back to normal? Is this a computer problem or a (msn) software problem? Any ideas i can try will be appreciated. Thank you, Lizzie

You did NOT say

how it keeps sending the email. So I'm going to assume, very poor choice of a word, that you're using Outlook Express or some other email program.

Delete the account. Go to the Outbox and delete the emails waiting there to be sent. Close Outlook Express. Wait about 15 seconds and configure your account. If your settings are wrong, it will also cause it to hang.

What isp are you using?

Maybe if you're NOT sure of the settings, we can find the correct settings for you.
