Help! MP3 not recognized

Nov 5, 2005 1:08PM PST

I've tried several different mp3's and both are not recognized in My Computer as a drive nor do they appear in Media Player. I get "device not found" in Media Player. I've got Media Player 10 and XP. I've tried many possible solutions and none work. Help please!

WMP = No assured fix.

For MP3 playback I use WINAMP. It's free and not as big an application.

Sorry, WMP seems to break and repair is less than assured.

will winamp sync with mp3 players?

My difficulties are with WMP recognizing my mp3 player. Will winamp allow that? In wmp and in My Computer, my MP3 player is not being recognized.

Works fine with mine.

My MP3 player shows up as a drive letter. It's not any issue to copy MP3s there and they play.

Sorry, I wish we could get this discussion in gear, but I'm unsure what issues and goals you have here. Your last post was not on topic.
