Many have trouble with that but take my word for it. It's true.
I have a Samsung SyncMaster 551v Monitor, Model Name: 551v, Model Code: AQ15VSPN/XAX, Mfg. April 2002, Assembled in Tijuana, Mexico, Type No. PN15VS, The main board reads on the bottom: Model Name: PN15V Rev. No. MP1.2 (2001.09.25) Code No. BH41-00130A, On the top it reads: Code No. BH41-00130A, Rev: MP1.3 (2001.09.25), The little connector box that plugs onto the CRT reads: SEC P/O NO: BUGANGWK03, BK O/C NO: BGB22, MODEL NO. AQ15VSPN, ASSY NO: BH91-00578C, CDT: SD1/15", TYPE: FST, SERIAL NO: 2. . . 03234 with a card inside that reads PN15L/15H. The problem is now, because the monitor was working perfect after I cleaned it, for some stupid reason I decided to plug in another CRT from a SYNCMASTER 400b which is different in size than the original one, everything was working fine until all of a sudden without making a noise nor anything the monitor stopped working. Now there is a tic..tic..tic..tic..tic low sound on some part of the pieces of the circuit board which I cant exactly determine where it comes from, I want this monitor to work again, I dont know electronics I hope you guys can give me help to get it back up running with the original CRT. I have photos that I took of the board and of the area from where the sound I believe comes from, I took off a piece and the monitor seemed to turn on but when I plug in the CRT there is no image. Your help will be highly appreciated.
