I own one, the neighbor liked it and bought one. My dad picked it too.
Seems nice.

I work in a small law office, and one of my attorneys wants a printer to go with his new computer. He is essentially a Luddite, and will hardly use the printer, as he hardly uses his computer. So, I figured I would try to maximize the purchase. We don't have a color scanner or copier, so I thought about an all-in-one.
Now, I was considering HP because of the text quality, and laser is a must if he'll print anything for court because its required. CNET editor's rated the HP Color LaserJet 2840 better than users did, so I am a litte apprehensive. The scan quality isn't the greatest from the reviews I've read, and since that is one of the "added" features I am looking for in a pritner, it gives me pause.
The HP Photosmart 3310 all in one got decent reviews and claims to have "laser like" text printing quality in a inkjet. Of course, it is cheaper than and would be cheaper to maintain. But still, how similar to laser printing is it? The attorney would not be producing the volumes I do for official filing, but still...
Any suggestions?
