help me plz..............:(

i got wireless net and im usin a usb 400 antenna thingy(its white n plastic) and it cuts out every now and then......like whenever it chooses......but msn n yahoo messengers stay connected.......and then i get disonnected from my chatroom alot too cuz of it......and it bugs the hell outta me........so sum1 plz help me fix my comp....i got windows millenium edition if u needed to no

What kind of signal strength are you getting? You can try moving your computer around so that the antenna may get a better signal. Also, if the access point has adjustable antenne, try moving them around.
It's best if you use the signal meter on your pc while you are doing this (usually installed when you installed the USB thingy).
Also, make sure there are no 2.4GHz telephones around, as this can cause this kind of problem too!
