Help me pliz

I have a new Vortex Android 4.0 Tablet. I cannot operate it. I entered an IP adress for a wifi connection it can not connect. I can't find a place to put a sim card. i don't no what to do with it now.

- Usually, tablets aren't phones and don't have SIM cards.
- Entering "an IP-address" doesn't say much. I never have to enter an IP-address in a portable device to connect to a network. But I have to enter a WPA-key before it works, unless I'm at a public hotspot.

So more info please:
1. Link to the specifications of the product.
2. More info on what IP-address you entered into what program or app or setting.

you might need some hardware identification if it's a tablet not only with WiFi, but with 3G or 4G also. That should be mentioned in the user manual. Can you link to that too?
