Help me pick between these two Sony's

I've got it narrowed down to the Sony 36" KD-36XS955 or the 34" widscreen KD-34XBR960 I've never had widescreen before I'm not sure how much of a difference it will be from the 27" Sony I have had for 15 years. I am totally torn between these two so any pros and cons you can give me will be appreciated. Oh and it's for a bedroom so it's not a huge room.

Actually the 34'' ws is more it's $1,899.99 and the 36'' is $1,499.99
