Resolved Question

Help me get back these deleted photos, please!

Aug 22, 2013 1:29PM PDT

A few days ago, my brother inserted the memory card of my Canon digital camera into my laptop and browsed all recently taken photos. However, he had accidentally deleted some of them. It was quite a disaster for me. Does anyone know how to get back these deleted photos? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

In these days, the deleted files off from a computer drive or a phone/camera memory card are not actually wiped out after the accidental deletion. They are still there and become invisible and inaccessible. As long as they are not overwritten by anything new on this card or drive, you do have chances to get all these deleted files back.

So, have you written anything new on your camera memory card?

No matter whether you've overwritten them or not, you also can try a deleted data recovery freeware to retrieve your deleted videos back easily, such as Recuva, Easeus, TestDisk and iCare Data Recovery Free, etc.

Next time, you should never be so careless about your important data and always remember to back it up on different drives/memory cards.

Thank you for your answer at first!
Even though I have known nothing of data recovery stuff, I also do not save any new file on this drive after the accidental deletion. So, after reading your answer, I directly try your recommended data recovery freeware. They are great and retrieved all my needed files back. It's fantastic for me.
Thank you very much1!!!

Search for a free program called RECUVA.

Don't use the card again until you recover your photos.

You can download PC Inspector's File Recovery right here on CNET. It's free too.
I have used it quite a few times with great success. I have even helped recover images from cards after the flash drive was reformatted.

Take your memory card from camera and then connect it from your laptop through card reader. Then employ Remo Recover tool to recover your deleted photos. It has nice recovery features; it may give you better results.
