Help me decide....

OK I am going to build my first comp. Here is what I have so far. I need you help in determining what memory to get, types of fans, and if these HD's are worth it. I dont really understand the 10,000 RPM HD's. Do you have to have 2 of them? Can I just have one to store games on and a big 250 gb 7200 rpm for movies etc. Do I need the additional power supply? Will the original one work ok with the 7800 GTX???

SCSI drive. Are you sure you want that? What type of RAM? I recommend Corsair XMS 3200C2PT for $116.00. Also recommend you get the SOund Blaster Audigy Gamer or Platinum Edition.

What harddrive would you recommend. Is there anything you would change at all on this current configuration besides the hd and the mobo since it will not support SLI with 7800GTX.

system looks good

yeah, he is right about the msi mobo, obviously, so go asus sli. ram = kingston hyper x 512 x 2.
your hard drive is fine, and no you dont NEED two, you can set up raid later for performance, but no, you dont need 2 of the cheetahs.
cpu = superb
case = ur opinion
gpu = jesus your lucky lol

everything else is fine, enjoy your first build

Can I get one 74 GB HD for games and have it be like the f: and my c: be a 250 GB hd? Will that work. Will games load quicker and stuff if I have them on the f?
