Help me choose mp3 player!

Dec 26, 2008 5:04PM PST

I'm looking for a solid player, not too thin but not bulky. Memory amount is not a big deal, but I would like the player to show photos and play videos. I would prefer a nice-sized screen; it doesn't have to be a touch screen. I am interested in Apple as well as non-Apple players. Thanks!

For Apple

I assume you don't have an unlimited budget so apple might seem kind of pricy. But you know you can trust them so I would recommend at least checking out store.apple.com. On the left side search the store for refurbished ipods and it will give you a list of the current deals they have. The ipods have been fixed of any problem and are warrantied for a year and they should work like new, except they are very cheap compared to new ones. You can even buy older models that have been refurbished. The nano 3rd generation sounds like a good fit because it can play videos and has enough memory to hold a few. It is also cheap and small. You may find that there are not many good deals out right now but if you check that site every once in a while you should find an ipod you would want.

You can also look at www.PurchaseYourSales.com in the purchase/mp3|mp4 section, they have really low price! And if you have something to sell they sell it pretty quick!

I dont own one, but I have heard many good things from sansa models such as the fuze so take a look at those as well.
