First the battery technology alone fails after a few years so all failed.

In fact, the batteries are 300 cycle rated and at 300 cycles the battery is considered good if it has 50% capacity.

So to meet your 6 to 10 hours at the end of the 300 cycles you need to start with 12 to 20 hour battery times. Not one of those on your list got that many hours when used normally.

I fear you may have to relent on the years and the hours. Also, even if you replace batteries yearly to keep the hours up, you may be upset over the costs. Why not plug in when you can?

I said I want to choose between 4 laptops and those are what I consider are important or ideal. If there is one that CAN do it I won't be choosing among these four.

While I have this laptop. It was boring and needed new batt

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PHM0L8 was acquired in 2009. I popped a new battery in it years later and DO NOT USE IT ON BATTERY MUCH. I follow the ABC rule. Always Be Charging.

This so I get years rather than a year per battery. It also got a monthly to quarterly canned air routine.

But even then the HDD failed so it's now 6+ years old, runs Windows 10 great, Netflix and more. But it didn't make it without some repairs.

I read your list and maybe you need to pull back on that battery use requirement.

Finally, durability is mostly up to us. Here's the dictionary on durable:
"able to withstand wear, pressure, or damage; hard-wearing.
"porcelain enamel is strong and durable""

The only durable laptops I know are those Panasonic Toughbooks.
