help me choose a motherboard

by phoenixrage / October 23, 2007 3:56 PM PDT

I am planning to build a brand new computer by hand and i am having trouble deciding on a mother board. I am building a system with a antec 900 case, core 2 duo running at 2.4ghz,2 gigs of ram and 320 gb hard drive and an 8800 gts and am not planning to over clock or go sli. I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions from websites like newegg.
and if you have personal experiance in building a computer yourself please leave some helpful tips since this will be my first build thanks!
