1. I am facing problem in installing MPLAYER in fedora core 3.
2. I have installed star office 5.0 in my system. but it is not working properly.

Don't have a solution but why star office 5.0? I would think latest version of OO would be lot better. Star office in on version 8 now.

StarOffice is in the 8beta and OpenOffice 1.1 is much better than S.O 5.

I have never had mPlayer work in any distro. Try installing the

xine-lib & kaffeine

They play DVDs and WMVs and everything in between.
