If it's only a week old take it into an Apple store, toss it onto the counter, tell them to fix the bloody thing and give you a call when it's fixed. You are also quite likely still within the exchange window with most retailers, so you could walk in with a defective MBP, and walk out with a brand new one.
My macbook pro 15" late 2011 had a black screen problem so I had to do a force shutdown but now I can't boot it up again. Nothing happens. It is fully charged and only a week old and I was running wikipedia and hotmail when it happened. Please help!
