That said, if this is happening with just one (new to you) lens, you could just not use that lens. Or, perhaps, try to exchange it for another copy.
Unless, when you said, "On the back screen, the image looks fine and in focus", you meant with the image zoomed all the way in. i.e. 1:1, 100% If that's the case, I dunno. Maybe an issue with your laptop/monitor? Have you tried viewing on another monitor?
HTH - Mark
I've recently started getting a few issues when using autofocus on my Canon eos 60D
I am unsure as to whether it's something I'm doing wrong when taking the photo, or have changed in the settings, or if it's a problem within the camera...
I'll point and focus on the centre focus point in the viewfinder and take the photo.
On the back screen, the image looks fine and in focus.
Once transferred to my laptop, it's clear the image is in fact not in focus, but very slightly off, despite using autofocus and pointing it to the area I wanted to focus on...
Very confused at what I'm doing wrong, surely it shouldn't be this hard??
Don't recall having this problem before, and it's rendering a large portion of my shoots unusable :/
Please help!
Thanks,
Ana
