Help - IPOD Locked Switch not working

Hi,

I couldn't find anyone with a situation as mines.

Woke up today, my IPOD is locked from the inside. The Lock Switch is not working. You can turn it on and off, but it doesn't do anything. It doesn't light up, nor does it work if attached to a USB power cord or laptop. The wheels are locked.

I love this IPOd, please help me find a solution to fix it.

I tried to take a image, but its coming up dark.

Hi, Forgot to mention its an IPOD - 80GB - don't know the generation - my guess is its 5th Generation. I have had it for many years.

Try a hard reset using the buttons

You can use google to learn how to do that.

If that doesn't work, it's a trip to the repair shop.
