Try using Wubi, it installs Linux like a regular windows program. It does not even need partitioning. The only thing is your max size for install is 30gb. But that should not be too much of an issue. Any you can use it for other kinds of Linux (You can install all versions made by Canonical)
I've been testing out Xubuntu on my very small 1GB flash drive and figures after one day it's already full to the point I can't do anything on it. After trying and failing to install Xubuntu to my 8GB flash drive (probably because it's a U3 drive) I decided to try installing it on my computer even though I dreaded the idea with all the bad luck I've had with dual-boots in the past including one where Ubuntu ruined my Windows partition and reformatted my media drive full of a couple hundred GB's of my stuff, but anyways... I put the CD in my computer and selected the "Install inside Windows" option, it installed perfectly fine with no problems and I restarted my computer and I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I saw the boot manager come up asking which OS I want, no errors or anything for once. I selected Xubuntu and I got this screen...
