Help, I have a dead battery in an IPAQ H3600

My battery will no longer charge. My IPAQ H3600 is almost 3 years old and out of warranty. The PDA will not even work in the cradle.

If it doesn't work in the cradle with that wall power, it's most likely "dead". While HP will sell batteries, my bet is its over.

Engineering 101, if the battery is dead, the IPAQ will not work because power from the wall must travel first through the dead battery. A dead battery will not transmit power.

I want and will pay for having the battery replaced in my IPAQ H3600. I have emailed HP and no one at HP has emailed me back. Can anybody help me?

You can remove that battery if it's a dead short and then test if the unit is still working. HP does sell these parts, but you need to persist and call it.

I can't help you do this.
