I went to my sbcglobal email account online - to the webpage, and deleted the original email from my inbox there. This seems to have stopped the copies showing up in my in box.
Does anyone know what caused the copies to keep coming in??
Please help. I sent my home email an email from my work email. Both computers (home and work) use Outlook 03 for email. Work is an earthlink email address, home is a sbcglobal email address. I have return receipt requested for all emails I send from my work computer. Tonight I have gotten 24 copies of the same email. Now here is why I think it is an outlook problem. My yahoo messenger is not giving me a new email message for all these copies I am receiving - you fellow yahoo messenger users will know what I am talking about there. But every 5 minutes when my outlook goes into send and receive mode, there comes another copy of the same email. These emails all have the same sent time.
I know it isn't my work computer email, as I shut my machine off every night when I come home from work. I have Norton Internet Security on my home computer and have run several virus scans and it finds no virus' on my home computer. I have even deleted the dup email, closed my outlook, and virus scanned the pst file to make sure of no virus. but I start up my outlook again, and bam another copy shows up.
Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and how to stop it??
