While this is a HP printer it really doesn't matter what brand.
During the install package, pay attention you maybe able to discount any option-able or full bundle installs and defeat it that way. -OR- allow the install to complete and then de-install afterwards. After the fact, may not be as clean or desirable as you never know what's included, so this is trial and error method. There really aren't generic or 3rd drivers in most cases but that excludes anything MS may provide which is called "native" or basic drivers from MS. here, again you have to use trial and error for measured success. Your printer should state in the manual what it "emulates" and thus use the MS provided printer setup to use the emulated status or if listed as model-XYZ, use the MS provided setup. The printer itself MUST be in that emulated mode/setup to allow it to work. As for wifi setup, if that HP 4650 in setup(status), see if "disable" is present.
As for any optionable s/w or pgms. sometimes that's NOT possible to defeat, because the vendor/maker embeds or engrains that so-much it too much hassle to defeat or even succeed. Thus, don't use the options or extras. If all this amounts to much, then buy a simpler printer or non-AIO type device. Of course, you can play all you want and if you succeed come back with your results for others to use.
