Try the usual with vsync on and prior ideas from https://www.google.com/#q=video+tearing+fix
If it still does it, you may need a better video card.
Hi guys! I recently just got a 144hz 24" acer monitor and I've noticed in games I've been getting pretty bad screen tearing. I do not want to turn v Sync on.
The thing is just before this I was using a 60hz asus monitor (also new) and everything was perfect. I was using that for the time being until this monitor was delivered to me.
I was pretty rough with the cables/sockets when i was physically setting up the monitor. (idk if that's why??) But other than that I can't think of any reason for why i'm getting screen tearing. Can anyone help me?
I updated my graphics drivers on my computer (also new) just recently but it's still not fixed.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
If I can't get anything to work i might just try for a different monitor but I don't know if that'll fix anything. x.x
any help much appreciated.
