Help! Gateway Solo 5150 notebook keybord replacement.

I am trying to replace my Solo 5150 keyboard for the last two years. Gateway does not have a technical note and quoted $269 for in-house replacement plus shipping. Well?
I am looking for step-by step procedure. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
