Question

[Help] First PC Build | Can anyone help me?

Apr 30, 2015 1:15PM PDT

Hello, I'm a soon to be youtuber who is planning on playing games such as FarCry and BF4. I was planning on purchasing the Alienware Area51 R4 but was talking into building my own so here I am. I know some of the parts ive chosen arent necessary but I have a large budget and dont want to worry about it for a while haha. So, as a first time builder Id love a list of parts ill need. Im doing a watercooled build and Ive chosen a few key parts already so I was hoping you all could recommend a case and other parts I may need. Again I know all these parts may not be necessary but i wanted to go "Balls To The Wall". Thanks guys!

Motherboard : EVGA Z97 Classified LGA1150 Haswell Refresh, EATX, 4 DIMM Dual-Channel DDR3 2666MHz MotherboardEATX 152-HR-E979-KR

Graphics Card : Triple GeForce GTX TitanX

CPU : Intel® Core™ i7-5960X Processor Extreme Edition (20M Cache, up to 3.50 GHz)

RAM : Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 2400MHz

I had a few power cells in mind but really didnt know what I needed. Again no hate please since this is my first real pc build from the ground up. Thanks for the comments Happy

I wouldn't recommend purchasing from Alienware, but I would actually recommend purchasing from a different well known company if you have such a large budget.

Here are the two I recommend:

http://www.cyberwarecomputers.com/ (Amazing quality, warranty, and support)

http://www.digitalstormonline.com/ (Amazing quality, good support)

I have purchased from both of these companies and the technicians are definitely far superior to most of us (they build high-end systems every day).

If you build your own computer you're missing out on a warranty, which could end up being a disaster in the end, especially since this is your first build. Cyberware offers a lifetime warranty. When you're building a system as expensive as you mentioned above, it's worth paying an extra $100 to have it built professionally, tweaked and tuned for performance and stability, and to have an awesome warranty to cover your *** down the line.

Dell's gaming computers.
Just curious about what makes the 2 links you posted better?
