help finding the right organizing software

Mar 17, 2010 7:17AM PDT

I'm looking for some kind of calendar, planner, agenda software where i dont have to add a new events that pop up in a separate window and want to know duration, location, blah blah blah. I'm envisioning something like a normal planner where I can just type in the relevant info next to the time, adding more specifics if I want, but otherwise, just quickly jotting it down like you would for a normal daily planner
I want to be able to quickly plan my day or the next few hours, ordering tasks and chores without having to create a separate event for each 15 minute item. I've tried Things, Daylite, NoteBook, iProcrastinate, BusyCal, Google Calendars...Any suggestions?
