Remember that monitors must be calibrated for color accurate work. My son uses a Pantone Huey for that reason. He doesn't have the BARCO monitor but it's one sweet monitor for high end pro work.
He has the Pantone Huey and I think some run of the mill Dell monitors like http://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-27-Inch-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B00P0EQD1Q/ref=zg_bs_1292115011_14
I'm a email designer and always work on projects that are relatively small pixel dimensions. My boss asked what monitor I'd like but I'm not sure if a 4k monitor would make it too difficult to design on 600px wide emails. I'm currently using 1080p 23inch lenovo which is great but something bigger would be great like a 27inch.
Some suggestions would be great if anyone has experience in webdesign working or just a general tip. I'd prefer something that has an accurate RGB color space with an IPS panel. any advice would be great and very welcome. Thank you in advanced to anyone who helps.
