HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DESPERATE HERE

Ok, so heres the thing. Just changed my admin password(because i do every so often) and i changed it, thrn left the room had a break and came back and i just forgot completely what the password was :(!!! I am already logged on to XP and i dont plann to log of or switch my computer oof or i may never be abel to get back in!!

So is there anyway i can get my password back, because i am logged in. Mabey there is a file were i can get it back or something. Thanks!!

Never a real problem. Here's why.

1. In XP Home we boot safe mode and use the hidden admin account to set the password of any user.
2. In almost any version of Windows we can use NTPASSWD (see google) to change it.

yess thansk for that but like i said it is way too confusing and i cant risk turning of my computer and booting a disk becasue i have important documents on my PC.

is there any other alternative?

If you changed your password and haven't yet logged off or closed down, just change it again.

Or did I miss something here?
