Help deciding...

Jun 28, 2009 3:06AM PDT

I am in need of a new camcorder. Old one broke. Anyway, I am a casual user - family get togethers, holidays, kid functions, etc. I would like something with decent low light capability & image stabilization. I prefer flash or hard drive type. I am sick of the MiniDV tapes. I would like something under $300. I saw these:

JVC Everio MS120
Sony DCR-SX40
Canon FS100
JVC Everio GZ-MG330

Would you recommend one of the above or something else? Your help is appreciated.

Thanks.

J

Why do you prefer the Canon over the others? Is there another camcorder you suggest as well?

it has the best resolution. it will suffer a bit in lowlight to the jvc, but at this cam level the difference wont be much
