...Connect the cable box to the TV via an HDMI cable and attach the surround sound stuff to the Audio Out (variable) jacks on the back of the TV. That way, when you adjust the volume of the TV you won't have to fiddle with the volume on the surround sound system directly.
I'm lost. I need to connect a Denon DVD Surround Receiver (ADV 700) and a digital cable box to my Plasma HDTV. Do I connect these to the ''Component/RGB In'' slots or the regular slots. Also, what is RGB and what is the ''S'' video for. The diagram in the instruction manual is not very clear. I thought that I could replicate the wiring on my current setup which is to a Sony Vega HDTV but the Plasma has different slots.
