HELP! Computer Turns On But No Display

I have an asrock ab350 motherboard. The cmos battery was giving me issues so I replaced it but the new battery does not work. I turn the computer on and the leds and fans run but no signal is going to the monitor. I cleared the cmos settings with the new battery in place. The battery is CR2032 and should be the exact type required. Please help I don't know what else to do.

Re: no display

- What issues exactly was the cmos battery giving you?
- What exactly does "the [new] battery does not work" mean? How many V does it give?
- How exactly did you clear the cmos settings with the new battery in place?

Most likely cause: you damaged something when replacing the battery. Maybe a loose cable (could be the cable between PC and monitor, if you took that out), maybe something serious. Carefully check your work.
Less likely cause: something totally unrelated to what you did, such a the monitor suddenly failing.
