Question

Help! Computer not showing headset plugged in?

Mar 21, 2016 11:43AM PDT

Please help me guys, Im not a forums type of person but I have nowhere else to turn Sad I have an MSI r9 380 4gbVRAM graphics card and i use a 32in LCDTV as my monitor hooked up via HDMI through my tv. I have my razer krakens hooked into the back and the audio plays through them, and i use the mic and everything worked fine and dandy for a good while...

Yesterday I decided to wipe my computer. I saved my files but got ride of all aplications, I redownloaded raptr gaming app and updated my GPU to crimson and such, but now my headset wont show up when i plug it in, i even go in the control panel and search for devices, right click the audio icon and go to playback devices but its a now show. I have checked 1000 times that they are plugged in right and they are, I didnt take them out when i wiped it and they were still in there after not working.

IDK if I need to update audio drivers and if so, how?

I am really lost and I dont know what to do, Please help!

...all other drivers including motherboard/chipset, updated graphics drivers, network drivers, etc. Visit the computer manufacturer's website, or the specific device manufacturer's website, such as the sound card maker's website and download, then install the drivers.

Hope this helps.
