...as a first time MP3 device is the Sansa Fuze. Sonically decent and easy to manage via any number of dedicated 3rd-party media manager programs, or simply using a file manager like Windows File Explorer. Not too expensive, especially when purchasing online (8GB unit currently $70 on Amazon). Expandable as your music library grows courtesy of a microSD slot, up to a total of 24GB. Can play vids if ever you decide that you might like to try it.
I'm looking to buy my first MP3 player & I'm unsure what would be sufficient enough. I don't want to "over-buy". I want something that can hold 1000 songs or so and I want to be able to download talk shows off of radio stations websites. I am really not interested in playing video at all on the device. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank You.
