help! cannot open or delete three e-mails

I received three e-mails from the same company all sent at the same date and time. When trying to open or delete I get the message: Msimn has caused an error in MSH.TML.DLL. Msimn will now close. Outlook Express 6 then closes and I am sent back to my desktop, I run windows ME can anyone please help? I want to delete these from my inbox.

Swifty, Some Users...

..have a lot of problems with IE 6 and OE 6 on Windows Me. Some have had to revert back to Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2. That said, have you updated to the newest IE 6 SP1? Have you installed all the Critical "Windows Updates" from the Windows Update site?

Specifically, have you installed the newest Cumulative Security Update For Internet Explorer mentioned in the link below?:

Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-014 Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer (867282)

The Windows Update site should have all available "Critical" updates for download for Windows ME.

And because you haven't mentioned whether you scanned the messages with a current antivirus program, you might want to run one of the free online virus scanners from the links below:

Housecall Online Scanner

Panda Online Scanner

Hope this helps.

You might get by with this...

Look at the SUBJECT shown for the emails. The SUBJECT will likely begin with a letter. I don't know what that letter is but let us suppose the subjest is "Company business" that first letter is a C.

Now send YOURSELF two emails in which the subject begins with three letter B (BBB new email) for the first one and with three letter D (DDD new email).

When you receive them you click on the SUBJECT header to sort by subject and one of your new emails will be above the ones you want to delete while the other will be below them. Click once on the one just above then hold down the shift key and click once on the one below--that will select all five. Now press the delete key or the delete icon and they should be gone WITHOUT ever clicking on one to cause the error.

If that doesn't work, reinstall Outlook Express.
