I was having the same problem when pairing the remote , try holding the remote within a few inches of the TV, that worked for me.
Jumped in both feet.
1.QWERTY remote will not pair with TV. Done everything listed in support notes. Reset TV and Remote. Powered off TV, reset TV and remote. Still get "Failure". Live Chat is a total joke. Bozos at home looking up canned answers and not reading chat notes.
2.Trying to use BD-D6700 as wireless device because I have HDMI audio out into my receiver. But I cannot set up SmartHub. Tried once - used my regular email, selected password. Tried to login and got "invalid password". Tried it many times to make sure no error. Then used "Find Password" tab. A temporary password was sent to my email. Tried to login- VERY carefully - same issue "Invalid Password" Got temporary password 2 more times, still invalid. Tried to create new account, but it won't let me because the email is already in use. Live Chat guy was useless. Anyone able to help.
