I did some searching for the model of your TV, and I found a UN55D6050, but no UN55D6055. Could you check the model code for that please? Also, I suppose the model for the home theater is actually: HW-C560S, correct?
I checked the Home Theater's model, and the solution may be as simple as enabling Anynet, as it may somehow may have become disabled:
1) Press the SETUP/MENU button. (Each time the button is pressed, the mode switches between SETUP ENTER and SETUP OFF.)
2) Press the ENTER button to select SETUP ENTER.
3) Press the up or down buttons to select HDMI SETUP and then press the ENTER.
4) Press the up or down buttons to select HDMI ANYNET+ and then press the ENTER.
5) Press the up or down buttons to set ANYNET+ to ON.
Hi Everyone, I have been trying to fix this problem for 6 months and I can't figure it out. I have talked with Samsung until I am blue in the face and they can't figure it out either. This is my last hope. Here's the problem:
I have a Samsung home theater system model H-CW560S with Anynet plus. I have a satellite box connected to it via HDMI as well as a Sony Bluray player also connected HDMI. I have one HDMI out going to my Samsung UN55D6055 LED tv. The anynet function on the tv will recognize and control the bluray player with no problems but it will not control the home theater receiver. When I refresh the anynet device list under the tools menu on the tv it searches. As it searches it finds the bluray player and the receiver shows up during the search but when it completes the receiver is not listed with the bluray and it will not control the receiver. However when I turn off my tv it also turns off the home theater receiver so it must be communicating on some level. I want to be able to control the volume and other functions but it will not work. I have tried everything I know to try with no luck. Any help is appreciated more than you know.
Also it should be noted that I had this exact same setup with an older Samsung LCD tv with anynet and it worked beautifully. The only thing I did was upgrade my tv and I lost all functionality with the receiver.
