help!!

Nov 4, 2004 3:02AM PST

First time buyer here. Looking to spend around $200-250 for digital camera. Narrowed it down to Canon A75
Kodak dcx7530 or 7430. Picture quality on 4x6 - 8x10 is main concern. Any suggestions?? Will the A75 do just as well as the 7530 a 5 mp?? Or is 5mp just overkill??

I'm in the process of picking a digital camera out myself. If all you're looking to print is 8 x 10 at the most then a 3 megapixel is just fine (i.e. the Canon A75) - in fact, that's the camera I've pretty much decided on. As for the 5 megapixel, on screen you won't really notice a difference, but if you were planning on printing large photographs (i.e. over 11 x 17) then you would notice. So you would be just fine with the Canon A75...and I've heard good things about it. Good luck on the hunt!
