1. That the hard drive could be bad. Use hard disk test software (see google) and see how it fares.
2. Treat this like a fresh install. We know there is no download of restore media from packard bell or others so what you need is the restore media or a full retail copy of the OS and a LICENSE KEY.
Ok, I have this old Packard Bell Easynote MV35-202 laptop that said my Windows Xp was not genuine. It was. I got told to look on the Packard Bell website and see if they have any good support. I found this download that would restore the laptop to it's factory settings. I downloaded it and done what it said to do. I tryed restaring my laptop and it comes up ' Hard Disk in Sector Invalid'. It only stops that when I have the CD I made in but even them I can only go to command promt. On the command promt it says:
Exit from OEMSETUP
What should I do?
