I need to know which is the better laptop. 1) Acer5100-5023(amd 64 X2,160gb hard drive,2gb ddr2 mem, blue tooth, wireless, no s-video out, 3 usb- all for $480. Or 2)Toshiba satellite A135-4677, pentium dual core 1.7 ghz, 80gb, 1gb ram, no bluetooth, with s-video, 3 usb--all for $480. I am not familiar with Acers'. Are they any good? Which deal would you purchase and why? please Reply, Thanks so much.

Given those specs....

I'd take the Acer that has a bigger hard drive and more memory. I would note that you leave out the graphics of each system, the size of screen and battery option.

if they are the same price. I do prefer Intel or AMD just because it's the better mobile processor but the memory and HD make this an easy choice.
