Help - 2 viruses that were deleted but no Internet still

Sep 29, 2010 10:30AM PDT

My computer, an HP with Vista programs, was recently invented with 2 viruses:

trojan.agent c:\\windows\system32 certstore.dat

trojan.agent HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Userinit

Not sure which one of these infected it to the point that the computer was extremely slow and no Internet access.

I was able to quarantine these viruses using Malwarebytes' anti-malware. In addition, I ran sophos anti-root sytem...it didn't recommend I remove anything, so I believe I got rid of the viruses.

But I am not able to access the Internet from this HP still. I cleaned out all of the cookies, temp files, trash, cleaned up the computer and defraged...still no Internet connection - even though it says I have a connection. I tried using a cord/not wireless, and it won't work.

When I click on Explorer, it then says I have "limited Internet connection," but still won't provide access.

I am using another computer in the meantime.

Help.
