my primary requirements are normal student work and a bit of gaming.(stuff like world of warcraft and other mmorpg's)
i want to know if the onboard graphics chip is good enough and whether it can be upgraded later.

Gamers don't like shared memory video.

Time and time again gamers ask how to upgrade such. And if the system has such, all the units I've seen are not upgradable later.

the problem is upgradability
i have heard of inspiron 6000 laptops having upgradable video cards
just wanted to know if i can do the same in about a year or so..
and there are no reviews on the 6400
are there any users out there with an opinion?

I've yet to find a shared memory controller that handles it.

Maybe games before BF2 and Q4?

to play World of Warcraft you should have at least a 128MB video card and 512 ram

I reccomend a 256 Video card and 1gb ram

look on ebay and buy an xps m170 off there
